²⁵ Please let me go over and see ^(A)the good land beyond the Jordan, that good hill country and ^(B)Lebanon.’

²¹ Furthermore, ^(A)the Lord was angry with me because of you, and he swore that I should not cross the Jordan, and that I should not enter the good land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance. ²² For I must die in this land; ^(B)I must not go over the Jordan. But you shall go over and take possession of ^(C)that good land.

⁶ On that day I swore to them that ^(A)I would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, a land ^(B)flowing with milk and honey, ^(C)the most glorious of all lands.

^11 (A)But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven, ¹² a land that the Lord your God cares for. ^(B)The eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

⁵ And they said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession. Do not take us across the Jordan.”

⁸ and ^(A)I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and ^(B)to bring them up out of that land to a ^(C)good and broad land, a land ^(D)flowing with milk and honey, to the place of ^(E)the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
