²² Do not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.’^(A)

⁴ for it is the Lord your God who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you victory.’^(A)

¹⁴ The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still.”^(A)

³⁰ The Lord your God, who goes before you, is the one who will fight for you, just as he did for you in Egypt before your very eyes^(A)

Restoration and Protection Promised

¹² See, God is with us at our head, and his priests have their battle trumpets to sound the call to battle against you. O Israelites, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your ancestors, for you cannot succeed.”^(A)
