¹⁷ the Arabah also, with the Jordan and its banks, from Chinnereth down to the sea of the Arabah, the Dead Sea,^[a] with the lower slopes of Pisgah on the east.^(A)

³ and the Arabah to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and in the direction of Beth-jeshimoth, to the sea of the Arabah, the Dead Sea,^[a] southward to the foot of the slopes of Pisgah;^(A)

³ All these joined forces in the Valley of Siddim, that is, the Dead Sea.^[a](A)

¹⁶ the waters flowing from above stood still, rising up in a single heap far off at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan, while those flowing toward the sea of the Arabah, the Dead Sea,^[a] were wholly cut off. Then the people crossed over opposite Jericho.^(A)

⁴⁹ together with all the Arabah on the east side of the Jordan as far as the Sea of the Arabah, under the slopes of Pisgah.

¹⁹ then the boundary passes on to the north of the slope of Beth-hoglah; and the boundary ends at the northern bay of the Dead Sea,^[a] at the south end of the Jordan: this is the southern border.

⁵ And the east boundary is the Dead Sea,^[a] to the mouth of the Jordan. And the boundary on the north side runs from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan;

² And their south boundary ran from the end of the Dead Sea,^[a] from the bay that faces southward;

²⁷ and in the valley Beth-haram, Beth-nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of King Sihon of Heshbon, the Jordan and its banks, as far as the lower end of the Sea of Chinnereth, eastward beyond the Jordan.^(A)

¹¹ and the boundary shall continue down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain, and the boundary shall go down and reach the eastern slope of the sea of Chinnereth,^{(A) 12} and the boundary shall go down to the Jordan, and its end shall be at the Dead Sea.^[a] This shall be your land with its boundaries all around.”
