¹⁵ but with him who stands here with us today before the Lord our God, ^(A)as well as with him who is not here with us today

³⁹ For the promise is to you and ^(A)to your children, and ^(B)to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

¹⁴ For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise ^(A)your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

³⁹ then I will ^(A)give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.

³ The Lord ^(A)did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, those who are here today, all of us who are alive.
