⁶⁴ “And the Lord ^(A)will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and ^(B)there you shall serve other gods ^(C)of wood and stone, ^(D)which neither you nor your fathers have known.

²⁷ And the Lord ^(A)will scatter you among the peoples, ^(B)and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. ²⁸ And ^(C)there you will serve gods of wood and stone, the work of human hands, ^(D)that neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

³³ And ^(A)I will scatter you among the nations, and I will unsheathe the sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.

¹³ Therefore ^(A)I will hurl you out of this land into ^(B)a land that neither you nor your fathers have known, ^(C)and there you shall serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.’

⁸ Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, ^(A)I will scatter you among the peoples,

²⁴ They will fall by the edge of the sword and ^(A)be led captive among all nations, and ^(B)Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, ^(C)until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

³⁶ “The Lord will ^(A)bring you and your king whom you set over you to a nation that neither you ^(B)nor your fathers have known. And ^(C)there you shall serve other gods of wood and stone.

^17 (A)“Israel is a hunted sheep ^(B)driven away by lions. ^(C)First the king of Assyria ^(D)devoured him, and now at last ^(E)Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon ^(F)has gnawed his bones.

¹⁶ Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet ^(A)I have been a sanctuary to them for a while^[a] in the countries where they have gone.’ ¹⁷ Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: ^(B)I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, ^(C)and I will give you the land of Israel.’
