⁴² Locusts shall ^[a]consume all your trees and the produce of your land.

Vision of the Locusts

7 Thus the Lord God showed me: Behold, He formed locust swarms at the ^[a]beginning of the late crop; indeed it was the late crop after the king’s mowings. ² And so it was, when they had finished eating the grass of the land, that I said:

^38 (A)“You shall carry much seed out to the field but gather little in, for ^(B)the locust shall ^[a]consume it. ³⁹ You shall plant vineyards and tend them, but you shall neither drink of the ^(C)wine nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.
