^3 (A)And you shall write on them all the words of this law, when you cross over to enter the land that the Lord your God is giving you, ^(B)a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you.

³² And there, in the presence of the people of Israel, he wrote on ^(A)the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he had written.

⁹ And he brought us into this place and gave us this land, ^(A)a land flowing with milk and honey.

^2 (A)You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our^[a] hearts, to be known and read by all. ³ And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of ^(B)the living God, not on ^(C)tablets of stone but on ^(D)tablets of ^(E)human hearts.^[b]

The New Covenant

^31 (A)“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make ^(B)a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, ³² not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when ^(C)I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, ^(D)though I was their husband, declares the Lord. ^33 (E)For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: ^(F)I will put my law within them, and I will write it ^(G)on their hearts. ^(H)And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

⁶ For the people of Israel walked ^(A)forty years in the wilderness, until all the nation, the men of war who came out of Egypt, perished, because they did not obey the voice of the Lord; the Lord ^(B)swore to them that he would not let them see the land that the Lord had sworn to their fathers to give to us, ^(C)a land flowing with milk and honey.

⁸ If ^(A)the Lord delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, ^(B)a land that flows with milk and honey.

²⁷ And they told him, “We came to the land to which you sent us. It ^(A)flows with milk and honey, ^(B)and this is its fruit.
