⁶ “If you come on a bird’s nest, in any tree or on the ground, with fledglings or eggs, with the mother sitting on the fledglings or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young.^(A)

²⁸ But you shall not slaughter, from the herd or the flock, an animal with its young on the same day.^(A)

⁶ Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight.

¹¹ Deliver me, please, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, for I am afraid of him; he may come and kill us all, the mothers with the children.^(A)
