¹² and so you bring her home to your house: she shall shave her head, pare her nails,^(A)

²² to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts,^(A)

⁶ For if a woman will not veil herself, then she should cut off her hair, but if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, she should wear a veil.
