The Golden Rule

¹² “So ^(A)whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is ^(B)the Law and the Prophets.

^28 (A)You shall sell me food for money, that I may eat, and give me water for money, that I may drink. Only let me pass through on foot, ^29 (B)as the sons of Esau who live in Seir and the Moabites who live in Ar did for me, until I go over the Jordan into the land that the Lord our God is giving to us.’

¹⁹ And the people of Israel said to him, “We will go up by the highway, ^(A)and if we drink of your water, I and my livestock, ^(B)then I will pay for it. Let me only pass through on foot, nothing more.”
