^28 (A)You shall sell me food for money, that I may eat, and give me water for money, that I may drink. Only let me pass through on foot,

¹⁹ And the people of Israel said to him, “We will go up by the highway, ^(A)and if we drink of your water, I and my livestock, ^(B)then I will pay for it. Let me only pass through on foot, nothing more.”
