¹⁸ The judges shall ^(A)inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely,

⁴ and it is told you and you hear of it, then you shall inquire ^(A)diligently, and if it is true and certain that such an abomination has been done in Israel,

¹⁴ then you shall inquire and make search and ask ^(A)diligently. And behold, if it be true and certain that such an abomination has been done among you,

⁶ and said to the judges, “Consider what you do, ^(A)for you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment. ⁷ Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for ^(B)there is no injustice with the Lord our God, ^(C)or partiality or taking bribes.”
