¹⁸ It shall not seem hard to you when you send him away free from you; for he has been worth ^(A)a double hired servant in serving you six years. Then the Lord your God will bless you in all that you do.

⁷ And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? ⁸ But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself ^(A)and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’?

¹⁶ For thus the Lord has said to me: “Within a year, ^(A)according to the year of a hired man, all the glory of ^(B)Kedar will fail;

¹⁴ But now the Lord has spoken, saying, “Within three years, ^(A)as the years of a hired man, the glory of Moab will be despised with all that great multitude, and the remnant will be very small and feeble.”
