²⁴ Every place on which you set foot shall be yours; your territory shall extend from the wilderness to the Lebanon and from the River, the River Euphrates, to the Western Sea.^(A)

⁹ And Moses swore on that day, saying, ‘Surely the land on which your foot has trodden shall be an inheritance for you and your children forever, because you have wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God.’^(A)

³¹ I will set your borders from the Red Sea^[a] to the sea of the Philistines and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will hand over to you the inhabitants of the land, and you shall drive them out before you.^(A)

¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates,^{(A) 19} the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, ²⁰ the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, ²¹ the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

^21 [a]Solomon was sovereign over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, even to the border of Egypt; they brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.^[b](A)]]

³ Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, as I promised to Moses.^{(A) 4} From the wilderness and the Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, to the Great Sea in the west shall be your territory.^(B)

²⁶ He ruled over all the kings from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines and to the territory of Egypt.^(A)

²⁴ For he had dominion over all the region west of the Euphrates,^[a] and he had peace on all sides.^(A)

³ your south sector shall extend from the wilderness of Zin along the side of Edom. Your southern boundary shall begin from the end of the Dead Sea^[a] on the east;^{(A) 4} your boundary shall turn south of the ascent of Akrabbim and cross to Zin, and its outer limit shall be south of Kadesh-barnea; then it shall go on to Hazar-addar and cross to Azmon; ⁵ the boundary shall turn from Azmon to the Wadi of Egypt, and its termination shall be at the Sea.^(B)

⁶ “For the western boundary, you shall have the Great Sea and its^[b] coast; this shall be your western boundary.

⁷ “This shall be your northern boundary: from the Great Sea you shall mark out your line to Mount Hor;^{(C) 8} from Mount Hor you shall mark it out to Lebo-hamath, and the outer limit of the boundary shall be at Zedad;^{(D) 9} then the boundary shall extend to Ziphron, and its end shall be at Hazar-enan; this shall be your northern boundary.

¹⁰ “You shall mark out your eastern boundary from Hazar-enan to Shepham, ¹¹ and the boundary shall continue down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain, and the boundary shall go down and reach the eastern slope of the sea of Chinnereth,^{(E) 12} and the boundary shall go down to the Jordan, and its end shall be at the Dead Sea.^[c] This shall be your land with its boundaries all around.”

¹³ Moses commanded the Israelites, saying, “This is the land that you shall apportion by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe,^{(F) 14} for the tribe of the Reubenites by their ancestral houses and the tribe of the Gadites by their ancestral houses have taken their inheritance and also the half-tribe of Manasseh;^{(G) 15} the two tribes and the half-tribe have taken their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”
