¹⁷ For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who is not partial and takes no bribe,^(A)

Gentiles Hear the Good News

³⁴ Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality,^(A)

¹¹ For God shows no partiality.^(A)

⁶ And from those who were supposed to be acknowledged leaders (what they actually were makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality)—those leaders contributed nothing to me.^(A)

⁴⁷ The king said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery!”^(A)

³² “Now therefore, our God—the great and mighty and awesome God, keeping covenant and steadfast love—do not treat lightly all the hardship that has come upon us, upon our kings, our officials, our priests, our prophets, our ancestors, and all your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria until today.

²¹ Have no dread of them, for the Lord your God, who is present with you, is a great and awesome God.^(A)

¹⁶ On his robe and on his thigh he has a name inscribed, “King of kings and Lord of lords.”^(A)

⁹ And, masters,^[a] do the same to them. Stop threatening them, for you know that both of you have the same Lord^[b] in heaven, and with him there is no partiality.^(A)
