¹⁰ The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt,^(A) from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden.

¹⁸ If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord^[a] will bring on them the plague^(A) he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.^(B)
