¹⁵ “So when you see the abomination of desolation ^(A)spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in ^(B)the holy place (^(C)let the reader understand),

²⁰ “But ^(A)when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that ^(B)its desolation has come near.

¹¹ And from the time that ^(A)the regular burnt offering is taken away and ^(B)the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

¹⁴ “But when you see ^(A)the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be (^(B)let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

³⁶ “And the king shall ^(A)do as he wills. ^(B)He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, ^(C)and shall speak astonishing things against ^(D)the God of gods. ^(E)He shall prosper ^(F)till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

^22 (A)For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, ^(B)only a remnant of them will return. ^(C)Destruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness. ²³ For the Lord God of hosts will make a full end, as decreed, in the midst of all the earth.

¹³ Then I heard ^(A)a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke, ^(B)“For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, ^(C)the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?”

^40 (A)I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. ^(B)And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. ^41 (C)I will rejoice in doing them good, ^(D)and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.

⁴² “For thus says the Lord: ^(E)Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good that I promise them.
