Daniel 8:6-8

6 He came to (A)the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing on the bank of the canal, (B)and he ran at him in his powerful wrath. 7 I saw him come close to the ram, (C)and he was enraged against him and struck the ram and broke his two horns. (D)And the ram had no power to stand before him, but he (E)cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. And there was no one who could rescue the ram from his power. 8 Then (F)the goat (G)became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four (H)conspicuous horns toward (I)the four winds of heaven.

6 Then he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing beside the river, and ran at him with furious power. 7 And I saw him confronting the ram; he was moved with rage against him, [a]attacked the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to withstand him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him; and there was no one that could deliver the ram from his hand.
8 Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it (A)four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven.
