²⁴-»Su poder será grande, pero no por su propio poder;
Destruirá^[a] en forma extraordinaria,
Prosperará y hará su voluntad.
Destruirá^[b] a los poderosos y al pueblo santo^[c]^(A).
²⁵-»Y por su astucia
Hará que el engaño prospere por su influencia^[d].
Él se engrandecerá en su corazón,
Y destruirá a muchos que están confiados^[e].
Aun se levantará contra el^[f] Príncipe de los príncipes^(B),
Pero será destruido sin intervención humana^[g]^(C).
²⁶-»La visión de las tardes y de las mañanas
Que ha sido relatada, es verdadera.
Pero tú, guarda en secreto la visión^(D),
Porque se refiere a muchos días aún lejanos^(E)».

Daniel 8:24-26

New International Version

²⁴He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people.^(A) ²⁵He will cause deceit^(B) to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes.^(C) Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.^(D)

²⁶“The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true,^(E) but seal^(F) up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”^(G)
