Daniel 8:24-26
New International Version
24 He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people.(A) 25 He will cause deceit(B) to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes.(C) Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.(D)
26 “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true,(E) but seal(F) up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”(G)
Daniel 8:24-26
King James Version
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
