Daniel 8:23-25
Legacy Standard Bible
23 In the latter period of their [a]reign,
When the transgressors have [b]run their course,
A king will stand,
[c]Insolent and skilled in [d]intrigue.
24 His power will be mighty, but not by his own power,
And he will [e](A)destroy to an [f]astonishing degree
And succeed and do his will;
He will [g]destroy mighty men and [h]the holy people.
25 And through his insight
He will cause deceit to succeed by his hand;
And he will magnify himself in his heart,
And he will [i]destroy many while they are [j]at ease.
He will even (B)stand against the Prince of princes,
But he will be broken (C)without hands.

Daniel 8:23-25
King James Version
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
