21 As I looked, this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them(A)
22 Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High [God], and the time came when the saints possessed the kingdom.
23 Thus [the angel] said, The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth, tread it down, and break it in pieces and crush it.
24 And as for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise; and another shall arise after them, and he shall be different from the former ones, and he shall subdue and put down three kings.
25 And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the law; and the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time [three and one-half years].(B)
26 But the judgment shall be set [by the court of the Most High], and they shall take away his dominion to consume it [gradually] and to destroy it [suddenly] in the end.
27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions shall serve and obey Him.

21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them,(A) 22 until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.(B)
23 “He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.(C) 24 The ten horns(D) are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High(E) and oppress his holy people(F) and try to change the set times(G) and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.[a](H)
26 “‘But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed(I) forever. 27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms(J) under heaven will be handed over to the holy people(K) of the Most High.(L) His kingdom will be an everlasting(M) kingdom, and all rulers will worship(N) and obey him.’

25 (E)He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall (F)persecute[a] the saints of the Most High,
And shall (G)intend to change times and law.
Then (H)the saints shall be given into his hand
(I)For a time and times and half a time.
26 ‘But(J) the court shall be seated,
And they shall (K)take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever.
27 Then the (L)kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
(M)His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
(N)And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’
