²² My God ^(A)sent his angel ^(B)and shut the lions' mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless ^(C)before him; ^(D)and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”

³³ who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, ^(A)stopped the mouths of lions,

¹⁷ But ^(A)the Lord stood by me and ^(B)strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and ^(C)all the Gentiles might hear it. So ^(D)I was rescued ^(E)from the lion's mouth.

¹¹ When Peter ^(A)came to himself, he said, “Now I am sure that ^(B)the Lord has sent his angel and ^(C)rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”

¹⁶ So I always ^(A)take pains to have a ^(B)clear conscience toward both God and man.

¹⁹ By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; ²⁰ for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. ²¹ Beloved, ^(A)if our heart does not condemn us, ^(B)we have confidence before God;
