21 So these men, in their trousers, robes, head coverings,[a] and other clothes, were tied up and thrown into the furnace of blazing fire. 22 Since the king’s command was so urgent[b](A) and the furnace extremely hot, the raging flames[c] killed those men who carried Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego up. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fell, bound, into the furnace of blazing fire.

New International Version
21 So these men, wearing their robes, trousers, turbans and other clothes, were bound and thrown into the blazing furnace. 22 The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego,(A) 23 and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.
