²¹ And He changes ^(C)the times and the seasons;
^(D)He removes kings and raises up kings;
^(E)He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.

^(A)“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

³¹ The horse is prepared for the day of battle,
But ^(A)deliverance is of the Lord.
