12 Zur selben Zeit wird der große Fürst Michael, der für die Kinder deines Volkes steht, sich aufmachen. Denn es wird eine solche trübselige Zeit sein, wie sie nicht gewesen ist, seitdem Leute gewesen sind bis auf diese Zeit. Zur selben Zeit wird dein Volk errettet werden, alle, die im Buch geschrieben stehen.
2 Und viele, so unter der Erde schlafen liegen, werden aufwachen: etliche zum ewigen Leben, etliche zu ewiger Schmach und Schande.
3 Die Lehrer aber werden leuchten wie des Himmels Glanz, und die, so viele zur Gerechtigkeit weisen, wie die Sterne immer und ewiglich.
4 Und du, Daniel, verbirg diese Worte und versiegle diese Schrift bis auf die Letzte Zeit; so werden viele darüberkommen und großen Verstand finden.
5 Und ich, Daniel, sah, und siehe, es standen zwei andere da, einer an diesem Ufer des Wassers, der andere an jenem Ufer.
6 Und er sprach zu dem in leinenen Kleidern, der über den Wassern des Flusses stand: Wann will's denn ein Ende sein mit solchen Wundern?
7 Und ich hörte zu dem in leinenen Kleidern, der über den Wassern des Flusses stand; und er hob seine rechte und linke Hand auf gen Himmel und schwur bei dem, der ewiglich lebt, daß es eine Zeit und zwei Zeiten und eine halbe Zeit währen soll; und wenn die Zerstreuung des heiligen Volkes ein Ende hat, soll solches alles geschehen.
8 Und ich hörte es; aber ich verstand's nicht und sprach: Mein Herr, was wird darnach werden?
9 Er aber sprach: Gehe hin, Daniel; denn es ist verborgen und versiegelt bis auf die letzte Zeit.
10 Viele werden gereinigt, geläutert und bewährt werden; und die Gottlosen werden gottlos Wesen führen, und die Gottlosen alle werden's nicht achten; aber die Verständigen werden's achten.
11 Und von der Zeit an, wenn das tägliche Opfer abgetan und ein Greuel; der Verwüstung aufgerichtet wird, sind tausend zweihundertundneunzig Tage.
12 Wohl dem, der da wartet und erreicht tausend dreihundert und fünfunddreißig Tage!
13 Du aber, Daniel, gehe hin, bis das Ende komme; und ruhe, daß du aufstehst zu deinem Erbteil am Ende der Tage!

2 Na he tokomaha o te hunga e moe ana i te puehu o te oneone e ara ake, ko etahi ki te ora tonu, ko etahi ki te whakama, ki te whakarihariha mutungakore.
3 A ka tiaho te hunga whakaaro nui ano kei te tiaho o te kikorangi; me te hunga hoki nana i anga ai nga tangata tokomaha ki te tika, ka rite ratou ki nga whetu a ake ake.
4 Ko koe ia, e Raniera, kopia nga kupu, hiritia ano te pukapuka a taea noatia te mutunga: he tokomaha e kopikopiko, ka nui haere ano te matauranga.
5 Katahi ahau, a Raniera, ka titiro, na ko etahi atu tokorua e tu ana, ko tetahi i tenei taha o te parenga o te awa, ko tetahi i tera taha o te parenga o te awa.
6 Na ko te meatanga a tetahi ki te tangata i te kakahu rinena, ki tera i runga i nga wai o te awa, Ko ahea ra ano te mutunga o enei mea whakamiharo?
7 A i rongo ahau i ta te tangata i te kakahu rinena, i ta tera i runga i nga wai o te awa, i te aranga o tona matau, o tona maui whaka te rangi, a oatitia ana e ia ma tera e ora tonu ana ake ake, kia taka ra ano tetahi wa, nga wa, me te hawhe; a ki a oti ta ratou tukituki i te kaha o te iwi tapu, katahi ka oti enei katoa.
8 A ka rongo ahau, engari kihai i matau; katahi ahau ka mea, E toku Ariki, he aha ra te mutunga o enei mea?
9 Katahi tera ka ki mai, Haere, e Raniera, kua oti hoki nga kupu te kokopi atu, hiri rawa a taea noatia te wa o te mutunga.
10 He tokomaha e mea i a ratou kia pokekore, kia ma, kia parakore; engari ko te hunga kino ka mahi i te kino, a e kore tetahi o te hunga kino e matau; ko te hunga whai whakaaro ia ka matau.
11 Na, mai o te wa e whakakahoretia ai te patunga tapu tuturu, e tu ai te mea whakarihariha, te mea whakangaro, kotahi mano e rua rau e iwa tekau nga ra.
12 Ka hari te tangata e tatari ana, a ka tutuki ki nga ra kotahi mano e toru rau e toru tekau ma rima.
13 Na haere kia taea ra ano te mutunga; ka okioki hoki koe, a ka tu ki tou wahi i te mutunga o nga ra.

12 “At that time Michael,(A) the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress(B) such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book(C)—will be delivered.(D) 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake:(E) some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.(F) 3 Those who are wise[a](G) will shine(H) like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness,(I) like the stars for ever and ever.(J) 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal(K) the words of the scroll until the time of the end.(L) Many will go here and there(M) to increase knowledge.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.(N) 6 One of them said to the man clothed in linen,(O) who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”(P)
7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand(Q) and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever,(R) saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time.[b](S) When the power of the holy people(T) has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.(U)”
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed(V) until the time of the end.(W) 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined,(X) but the wicked will continue to be wicked.(Y) None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.(Z)
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice(AA) is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation(AB) is set up, there will be 1,290 days.(AC) 12 Blessed is the one who waits(AD) for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.(AE)
13 “As for you, go your way till the end.(AF) You will rest,(AG) and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.(AH)”
