12 En ce temps-là se lèvera Micaël, le grand chef, le défenseur des enfants de ton peuple; et ce sera une époque de détresse, telle qu'il n'y en a point eu de semblable depuis que les nations existent jusqu'à cette époque. En ce temps-là, ceux de ton peuple qui seront trouvés inscrits dans le livre seront sauvés.
2 Plusieurs de ceux qui dorment dans la poussière de la terre se réveilleront, les uns pour la vie éternelle, et les autres pour l'opprobre, pour la honte éternelle.
3 Ceux qui auront été intelligents brilleront comme la splendeur du ciel, et ceux qui auront enseigné la justice, à la multitude brilleront comme les étoiles, à toujours et à perpétuité.
4 Toi, Daniel, tiens secrètes ces paroles, et scelle le livre jusqu'au temps de la fin. Plusieurs alors le liront, et la connaissance augmentera.
5 Et moi, Daniel, je regardai, et voici, deux autres hommes se tenaient debout, l'un en deçà du bord du fleuve, et l'autre au delà du bord du fleuve.
6 L'un d'eux dit à l'homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve: Quand sera la fin de ces prodiges?
7 Et j'entendis l'homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve; il leva vers les cieux sa main droite et sa main gauche, et il jura par celui qui vit éternellement que ce sera dans un temps, des temps, et la moitié d'un temps, et que toutes ces choses finiront quand la force du peuple saint sera entièrement brisée.
8 J'entendis, mais je ne compris pas; et je dis: Mon seigneur, quelle sera l'issue de ces choses?
9 Il répondit: Va, Daniel, car ces paroles seront tenues secrètes et scellées jusqu'au temps de la fin.
10 Plusieurs seront purifiés, blanchis et épurés; les méchants feront le mal et aucun des méchants ne comprendra, mais ceux qui auront de l'intelligence comprendront.
11 Depuis le temps où cessera le sacrifice perpétuel, et où sera dressée l'abomination du dévastateur, il y aura mille deux cent quatre-vingt-dix jours.
12 Heureux celui qui attendra, et qui arrivera jusqu'au mille trois cent trente-cinq jours!
13 Et toi, marche vers ta fin; tu te reposeras, et tu seras debout pour ton héritage à la fin des jours.

12 И в онова време великият княз Михаил, който се застъпва за твоите люде, ще се повдигне; и ще настане време на страдание, каквото никога не е бивало, откакто народ съществува до онова време; и в онова време твоите люде ще се отърват, - всеки, който се намери записан в книгата.
2 И множеството от спящите в пръстта на земята ще се събудят, едни за вечен живот, а едни за срам и вечно презрение.
3 Разумните ще сияят със светлостта на простора, и ония, които обръщат мнозина в правда като звездите до вечни векове.
4 А ти, Данииле, затвори думите и запечатай книгата до края на времето, когато мнозина ще я изследват, и знанието за нея ще се умножава.
5 Тогава, като погледнах аз Даниил, ето, стояха двама други, един на брега отсам реката, и един на брега оттам реката.
6 И единият рече на облечения в ленени дрехи човек, който бе над водата на реката: Докога ще се чака за края на тия чудеса?
7 И чух облечения в ленени дрехи човек, който бе над водата на реката, когато издигна десницата си и левицата си към небето и се закле в Оня, който живее до века, че това ще бъде след време, времена, и половина време, и че всичко това ще се изпълни, когато ще са свършили да смажат силата на светите люде.
8 И аз чух, но не разбрах. Тогава рекох: Господарю, мой, каква ще бъде сетнината на това?
9 А той рече: Иди си, Данииле; защото думите са затворени и запечатани до края на времето.
10 Мнозина ще се чистят и избелят и ще бъдат опитани; а нечестивите ще вършат нечестие, и никой от нечестивите не ще разбере; но разумните ще разберат.
11 И от времето, когато се премахне всегдашната жертва, и се постави мерзостта, която докарва запустение; ще има хиляда и двеста и деветдесет дена.

12 “At that time Michael,(A) the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress(B) such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book(C)—will be delivered.(D) 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake:(E) some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.(F) 3 Those who are wise[a](G) will shine(H) like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness,(I) like the stars for ever and ever.(J) 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal(K) the words of the scroll until the time of the end.(L) Many will go here and there(M) to increase knowledge.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.(N) 6 One of them said to the man clothed in linen,(O) who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”(P)
7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand(Q) and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever,(R) saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time.[b](S) When the power of the holy people(T) has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.(U)”
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed(V) until the time of the end.(W) 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined,(X) but the wicked will continue to be wicked.(Y) None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.(Z)
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice(AA) is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation(AB) is set up, there will be 1,290 days.(AC) 12 Blessed is the one who waits(AD) for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.(AE)
13 “As for you, go your way till the end.(AF) You will rest,(AG) and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.(AH)”

12 “At that time Michael shall stand up,
The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;
(A)And there shall be a time of trouble,
Such as never was since there was a nation,
Even to that time.
And at that time your people (B)shall be delivered,
Every one who is found (C)written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
(D)Some to everlasting life,
Some to shame (E)and everlasting [a]contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall (F)shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
(G)And those who turn many to righteousness
(H)Like the stars forever and ever.
4 “But you, Daniel, (I)shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall (J)run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that (K)riverbank. 6 And one said to the man clothed in (L)linen, who was above the waters of the river, (M)“How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?”
7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he (N)held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him (O)who lives forever, (P)that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; (Q)and when the power of (R)the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.
8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?”
9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 (S)Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, (T)but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but (U)the wise shall understand.
11 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13 “But you, go your way till the end; (V)for you shall rest, (W)and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”
