Daniel 11:40-45
New English Translation

40 “At the time of the end the king of the south will attack[a] him. Then the king of the north will storm against him[b] with chariots, horsemen, and a large armada of ships.[c] He[d] will invade lands, passing through them like an overflowing river.[e] 41 Then he will enter the beautiful land.[f] Many[g] will fall, but these will escape:[h] Edom, Moab, and the Ammonite leadership. 42 He will extend his power[i] against other lands; the land of Egypt will not escape. 43 He will have control over the hidden stores of gold and silver, as well as all the treasures of Egypt. Libyans and Ethiopians[j] will submit to him.[k] 44 But reports will trouble him from the east and north, and he will set out in a tremendous rage to destroy and wipe out many. 45 He will pitch his royal tents between the seas[l] toward the beautiful holy mountain. But he will come to his end, with no one to help him.

He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood.(C) 41 He will also invade the Beautiful Land.(D) Many countries will fall, but Edom,(E) Moab(F) and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand. 42 He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. 43 He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt,(G) with the Libyans(H) and Cushites[a] in submission. 44 But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many. 45 He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at[b] the beautiful holy mountain.(I) Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.
