10 Nang ikatlong taon ng paghahari ni Ciro ng Persia, isang pahayag ang dumating kay Daniel na tinatawag ding Beltesazar. Ang pahayag na iyon ay totoo ngunit mahirap unawain. Ngunit naunawaan din ito ni Daniel sa pamamagitan ng pangitain.

Vision of the Glorious Man
10 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, whose (A)name was called Belteshazzar. The message was true, [a]but the appointed time was long; and he understood the message, and had understanding of the vision. 2 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks.

10 In the third year of Cyrus(A) king of Persia, a revelation was given to Daniel (who was called Belteshazzar).(B) Its message was true(C) and it concerned a great war.[a] The understanding of the message came to him in a vision.
2 At that time I, Daniel, mourned(D) for three weeks.
