13 Then compare our appearance[a] with that of[b] the young men who are eating the royal delicacies;[c] deal with us[d] in light of what you see.” 14 So the warden[e] agreed to their proposal[f] and tested them for ten[g] days.
15 At the end of the ten days their appearance was better and their bodies were healthier[h] than all the young men who had been eating the royal delicacies.
