Daniel Is Promoted
46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar (A)fell upon his face and (B)paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that (C)an offering and (D)incense be offered up to him. 47 The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your (E)God is God of gods and (F)Lord of kings, and (G)a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.” 48 Then the king gave Daniel high honors and many great (H)gifts, and made him ruler over the whole (I)province of Babylon and (J)chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon. 49 Daniel made a request of the king, and he (K)appointed (L)Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the affairs of (M)the province of Babylon. But Daniel (N)remained at the king's court.

New International Version
46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate(A) before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering(B) and incense be presented to him. 47 The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods(C) and the Lord of kings(D) and a revealer of mysteries,(E) for you were able to reveal this mystery.(F)”
48 Then the king placed Daniel in a high(G) position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men.(H) 49 Moreover, at Daniel’s request the king appointed Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego administrators over the province of Babylon,(I) while Daniel himself remained at the royal court.(J)
