Daniel 2:4-6
New King James Version
4 Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic, (A)“O[a] king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will give the interpretation.”
5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, “My [b]decision is firm: if you do not make known the dream to me, and its interpretation, you shall be (B)cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made an ash heap. 6 (C)However, if you tell the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive from me gifts, rewards, and great honor. Therefore tell me the dream and its interpretation.”

4 Then the astrologers answered the king,[a](A) “May the king live forever!(B) Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it.”
5 The king replied to the astrologers, “This is what I have firmly decided:(C) If you do not tell me what my dream was and interpret it, I will have you cut into pieces(D) and your houses turned into piles of rubble.(E) 6 But if you tell me the dream and explain it, you will receive from me gifts and rewards and great honor.(F) So tell me the dream and interpret it for me.”
