²⁶ The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was ^(A)Belteshazzar, “Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen and its interpretation?”

⁸ But at last Daniel came in before me, whose name is ^(A)Belteshazzar according to the name of my god, and in whom is ^[a](B)a spirit of the holy gods; and I said the dream ^[b]to him:

¹² This was because an ^(A)extraordinary spirit, knowledge and insight, interpretation of dreams, explanation of enigmas, and ^[a]solving of difficult problems were found in this Daniel, whom the king named ^(B)Belteshazzar. Let Daniel now be summoned, and he will declare the interpretation.”
