22 He makes known secret and hidden things. He knows what is in the darkness. Light is with Him. 23 I give thanks and praise to You, O God of my fathers. For You have given me wisdom and power. Even now You have made known what we asked of You. You have made the king’s dream known to us.”
Daniel Tells the Meaning to the King
24 So Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had told to kill the wise men of Babylon. He went and said to him, “Do not kill the wise men of Babylon! Take me to the king, and I will tell him what his dream means.”

22 He reveals deep and hidden things;(A)
he knows what lies in darkness,(B)
and light(C) dwells with him.
23 I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:(D)
You have given me wisdom(E) and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king.(F)”
Daniel Interprets the Dream
24 Then Daniel went to Arioch,(G) whom the king had appointed to execute the wise men of Babylon, and said to him, “Do not execute the wise men of Babylon. Take me to the king, and I will interpret his dream for him.”
