Then a fourth will gain far more riches than all of them; as soon as he becomes strong through his riches, [b]he will stir up the entire empire against the realm of [c](B)Greece. And a (C)mighty king will arise, and he will rule with great authority and (D)do as he pleases. But as soon as he has arisen, his kingdom will be broken up and parceled out (E)toward the (F)four [d]points of the compass, though not to his own descendants, nor according to his authority which he wielded, because his sovereignty will be (G)removed and given to others besides [e]them.

When he has gained power by his wealth, he will stir up everyone against the kingdom of Greece.(B) Then a mighty king will arise, who will rule with great power and do as he pleases.(C) After he has arisen, his empire will be broken up and parceled out toward the four winds of heaven.(D) It will not go to his descendants, nor will it have the power he exercised, because his empire will be uprooted(E) and given to others.
