Daniel 10:12-14

12 Then he said to me, “(A)Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on (B)humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come (C)in response to your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was standing [a]in my way for twenty-one days; then behold, (D)Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to (E)explain to you what will happen to your people in the [b](F)latter days, because the vision pertains to (G)the days still future.”

12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid,(A) Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble(B) yourself before your God, your words(C) were heard, and I have come in response to them.(D) 13 But the prince(E) of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael,(F) one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain(G) to you what will happen to your people in the future,(H) for the vision concerns a time yet to come.(I)”
