¹⁹ He said, “Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of ^(A)the indignation, for it refers to ^(B)the appointed time of the end.

The Interpretation of the Vision

¹⁵ When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I ^(A)sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me one having ^(B)the appearance of a man. ^16 (C)And I heard a man's voice ^(D)between the banks of the ^(E)Ulai, and it called, ^(F)“Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.” ¹⁷ So he came near where I stood. And when he came, ^(G)I was frightened ^(H)and fell on my face. But he said to me, “Understand, ^(I)O son of man, that the vision is for ^(J)the time of the end.”

¹⁷ for ^(A)God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and ^(B)handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

The Seven Angels with Seven Plagues

15 Then ^(A)I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, ^(B)seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished.

⁷ but that ^(A)in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, ^(B)just as he announced to his servants the prophets.

Prologue

1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God ^(A)gave him ^(B)to show to his servants^[a] the things that must soon take place. ^(C)He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

⁷ And I heard ^(A)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; ^(B)he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and ^(C)swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a ^(D)time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of ^(E)the power of ^(F)the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished. ⁸ I heard, ^(G)but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”
