^27 (A)And the kingdom and the dominion
    and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven
    shall be given to the people of ^(B)the saints of the Most High;
^(C)his kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom,
    and all dominions shall serve and obey him.’^[a]

¹⁰ and you have made them ^(A)a kingdom and priests to our God,
    and they shall reign on the earth.”

^12 (A)For the nation and kingdom
    that will not serve you shall perish;
    those nations shall be utterly laid waste.
^13 (B)The glory of Lebanon shall come to you,
    the cypress, the plane, and ^(C)the pine,
to beautify the place of my sanctuary,
    and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
^14 (D)The sons of those who afflicted you
    shall come bending low to you,
^(E)and all who despised you
    shall bow down at your feet;
^(F)they shall call you the City of the Lord,
    the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

⁵ Let the godly exult in glory;
    let them ^(A)sing for joy on their ^(B)beds.
⁶ Let ^(C)the high praises of God be in their throats
    and ^(D)two-edged swords in their hands,
⁷ to execute vengeance on the nations
    and punishments on the peoples,
⁸ to bind their kings with ^(E)chains
    and their nobles with fetters of iron,
⁹ to execute on them the judgment ^(F)written!
    ^(G)This is honor for all his godly ones.
