²³ Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, ^(A)because he believed in his God.

²⁰ And ^(A)they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them, for they ^(B)cried out to God in the battle. He ^[a]heeded their prayer, because they ^(C)put their trust in Him.

²⁷ And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men ^(A)on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.

²⁸ Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His ^(B)Angel^[a] and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!

²⁵ “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, ^(A)walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like ^(B)the^[a] Son of God.”

²³ Jesus said to him, ^(A)“If^[a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Daniel Saved from the Lions

¹⁸ Now the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; and no ^[a]musicians were brought before him. ^(A)Also his sleep ^[b]went from him.
