Daniel 5:29-6:2

29 Then at the commandment of Belshazzar they clothed Daniel with purple, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
30 The same night was Belshazzar the King of the Chaldeans slain.
31 And Darius [a]of the Medes took the kingdom, being threescore and two years old.
6 1 Daniel is made ruler over the governors. 5 An act against Daniel. 16 He is put into a den of lions by the commandment of the king. 23 He is delivered by faith in God. 24 Daniel’s accusers are put unto the lions. 25 Darius by a decree magnifieth the God of Daniel.
1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom [b]an hundred and twenty governors, which should be over the whole kingdom,
2 And over these three rulers, (of whom Daniel was one) that the governors might give accompts unto them, and the king [c]should have no damage.
