⁹ He said, “Go on your way, Daniel, for the words are secret^(A) and sealed until the time of the end.^(B)

²⁷ For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.^(A)

²⁸ Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures^[a] will gather.^(A)

The Parable of the 10 Virgins

25 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like 10 virgins^[a] who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.^(A)

⁶ “In the middle of the night there was a shout: ‘Here’s the groom! Come out to meet him.’

⁴ Again, he sent out other slaves, and said, ‘Tell those who are invited: Look, I’ve prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’^(A)

⁸ “Then he told his slaves, ‘The banquet is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.^{(A) 9} Therefore go to where the roads exit the city and invite everyone you find to the banquet.’^{(B) 10} So those slaves went out on the roads and gathered everyone they found, both evil and good. The wedding banquet was filled with guests.^[a]

²³ The Lord of Hosts says this: “In those days, 10 men from nations of every language will grab the robe of a Jewish man tightly, urging: Let us go with you,^(A) for we have heard that God is with you.”
