⁴¹ He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: ^(A)Edom, Moab, and the ^[a]prominent people of Ammon.

Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

⁴⁵ And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and ^(A)the glorious holy mountain; ^(B)yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

¹⁶ But he who comes against him ^(A)shall do according to his own will, and ^(B)no one shall stand against him. He shall stand in the Glorious Land with destruction in his ^[a]power.

^9 (A)And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, ^(B)toward the east, and toward the ^(C)Glorious Land.

^8 (A)After many days ^(B)you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword ^(C)and gathered from many people on ^(D)the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them ^(E)dwell safely. ⁹ You will ascend, coming ^(F)like a storm, covering the ^(G)land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”

¹⁰ ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: ¹¹ You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of ^(H)unwalled villages; I will ^(I)go to a peaceful people, ^(J)who dwell ^[a]safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’— ¹² to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, ^(K)and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. ^13 (L)Sheba, ^(M)Dedan, the merchants ^(N)of Tarshish, and all ^(O)their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’ ” ’

²⁶ Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the ^(A)farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are ^(B)uncircumcised in the heart.”
