³⁶ “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall ^(A)exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done.

⁵ And he was given ^(A)a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to ^[a]continue for ^(B)forty-two months. ⁶ Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, ^(C)His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

⁴ who opposes and ^(A)exalts himself ^(B)above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits ^[a]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

¹⁹ And he said, “Look, I am making known to you what shall happen in the latter time of the indignation; ^(A)for at the appointed time the end shall be.

¹⁷ For the Lord your God is ^(A)God of gods and ^(B)Lord of lords, the great God, ^(C)mighty and awesome, who ^(D)shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.

¹⁶ But he who comes against him ^(A)shall do according to his own will, and ^(B)no one shall stand against him. He shall stand in the Glorious Land with destruction in his ^[a]power.

⁴⁷ The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly ^(A)your God is the God of ^(B)gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”

⁷ but ^(A)in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
