¹⁷ He shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom. He shall make peace with him and shall give him a woman in marriage, in order to destroy the kingdom,^[a] but it shall not succeed or be to his advantage.^(A)

⁷ You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and with your arm bared you shall prophesy against it.^(A)

³ Then take an iron plate and place it as an iron wall between you and the city; set your face toward it, and let it be in a state of siege, and press the siege against it. This is a sign for the house of Israel.^(A)
