² And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with ^(A)some of the articles of ^[a]the house of God, which he carried ^(B)into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; ^(C)and he brought the articles into the treasure house of his god.

^7 (A)Nebuchadnezzar also carried off some of the articles from the house of the Lord to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.

¹¹ And he said to me, “To ^(A)build a house for it in ^(B)the land of ^[a]Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base.”

¹⁹ “For thus says the Lord of hosts ^(A)concerning the pillars, concerning the Sea, concerning the carts, and concerning the remainder of the vessels that remain in this city, ²⁰ which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take, when he carried away ^(B)captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem—

²³ Now the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to ^(A)Dagon their god, and to rejoice. And they said:

² So the Lord ^(A)sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in ^(B)Hazor. The commander of his army was ^(C)Sisera, who dwelt in ^(D)Harosheth Hagoyim.

⁸ Therefore the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel, and He ^(A)sold them into the hand of ^(B)Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia; and the children of Israel served Cushan-Rishathaim eight years.

^14 (A)And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel. So He ^(B)delivered them into the hands of plunderers who despoiled them; and ^(C)He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they ^(D)could no longer stand before their enemies.
