11 All Israel has transgressed(A) your law(B) and turned away, refusing to obey you.

“Therefore the curses(C) and sworn judgments(D) written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned(E) against you. 12 You have fulfilled(F) the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster.(G) Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like(H) what has been done to Jerusalem.(I) 13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord(J) our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth.(K) 14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster(L) on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does;(M) yet we have not obeyed him.(N)

15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand(O) and who made for yourself a name(P) that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts,(Q) turn away(R) your anger and your wrath(S) from Jerusalem,(T) your city, your holy hill.(U) Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn(V) to all those around us.

11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.

12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

14 Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.

11 Yes, (A)all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the (B)Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. 12 And He has (C)confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing upon us a great disaster; (D)for under the whole heaven such has never been done as what has been done to Jerusalem.

13 (E)“As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; (F)yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. 14 Therefore the Lord has (G)kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for (H)the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice. 15 And now, O Lord our God, (I)who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself (J)a name, as it is this day—we have sinned, we have done wickedly!

16 “O Lord, (K)according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, (L)Your holy mountain; because for our sins, (M)and for the iniquities of our fathers, (N)Jerusalem and Your people (O)are a reproach to all those around us.
