15 Chúa phán với Môi-se rằng, 2 “Hãy nói với dân I-sơ-ra-ên và bảo chúng: Khi các ngươi vào trong xứ Ta sẽ ban cho các ngươi, 3 khi các ngươi dùng lửa dâng một lễ vật bắt từ bầy bò hay bầy chiên để làm một lễ vật có mùi thơm dâng lên Chúa, bất kể đó là của lễ thiêu, hoặc một con vật hiến tế để làm tròn lời thệ nguyện, hoặc một lễ vật do lòng vui mừng mà tự nguyện đem dâng, hoặc một lễ vật trong những dịp đại lễ, 4 thì người nào đem dâng lên Chúa một lễ vật như thế phải mang theo một của lễ chay, gồm hai lít[a] bột thượng hạng trộn với một lít[b] dầu. 5 Ngoài ra cứ mỗi con chiên dâng làm của lễ thiêu hay làm con vật hiến tế ngươi phải dâng kèm theo một lít rượu để làm của lễ quán. 6 Cứ mỗi con chiên đực ngươi phải dâng kèm theo một của lễ chay, gồm bốn lít[c] bột thượng hạng trộn với hơn một lít[d] dầu; 7 và cứ mỗi của lễ quán ngươi sẽ dâng kèm theo hơn một lít rượu để làm lễ vật có mùi thơm dâng lên Chúa.
8 Khi ngươi dâng một con bò làm của lễ thiêu, hoặc làm một con vật hiến tế để làm tròn lời thệ nguyện, hoặc làm của lễ cầu an dâng lên Chúa, 9 ngươi phải dâng kèm theo với con bò đó một của lễ chay, gồm sáu lít rưỡi[e] bột thượng hạng trộn với hai lít dầu;[f] 10 và ngươi cũng phải dâng một của lễ quán gồm hai lít rượu để làm một lễ vật dâng bằng lửa có mùi thơm dâng lên Chúa.

15 Ðối với hội chúng thì chỉ có một luật chung cho các ngươi và các kiều dân, một luật chung vĩnh viễn trải qua các thế hệ của các ngươi: trước mặt Chúa các ngươi và các kiều dân đều như nhau. 16 Các ngươi và các kiều dân sống giữa các ngươi sẽ có cùng một pháp luật và cùng một luật lệ.”

17 Chúa phán với Môi-se rằng, 18 “Hãy nói với dân I-sơ-ra-ên và bảo họ: Sau khi các ngươi vào trong xứ Ta sẽ mang các ngươi vào, 19 khi các ngươi bắt đầu ăn thực phẩm của thổ sản trong xứ, hãy trích ra một phần mà dâng lên Chúa. 20 Các ngươi hãy dâng một cái bánh làm từ đống bột thượng hạng đầu tiên; như người ta dành riêng ra một phần lúa từ sân đập lúa để dâng lên thế nào, các ngươi cũng hãy làm thế ấy. 21 Suốt các thế hệ tương lai cũng thế, các ngươi phải lấy một phần từ đống bột thượng hạng đầu tiên để dâng lên Chúa.
Luật về Việc Sơ Ý Phạm Tội
22 Nếu các ngươi sơ ý nên đã không làm theo mọi điều răn nầy mà Chúa đã dùng Môi-se truyền cho các ngươi 23 – tức mọi điều Chúa đã cậy Môi-se truyền cho các ngươi, và chúng có hiệu lực từ ngày Chúa truyền các điều răn ấy cho đến mọi thế hệ về sau của các ngươi– 24 nếu cả hội chúng đã sơ ý và không làm theo thì cả hội chúng phải dâng một con bò đực tơ làm của lễ thiêu để có mùi thơm dâng lên Chúa, cùng với của lễ chay và của lễ quán cặp theo với con vật hiến tế đó, như luật đã định. Ngoài ra họ phải dâng thêm một con dê đực để làm của lễ chuộc tội. 25 Tư tế sẽ cử hành lễ chuộc tội cho toàn thể hội chúng I-sơ-ra-ên, bấy giờ họ sẽ được tha thứ, bởi đó là tội do sơ ý phạm, và họ đã mang của lễ đến dùng lửa dâng lên Chúa, đồng thời họ cũng đã mang của lễ chuộc tội đến trước mặt Chúa để chuộc tội sơ ý của họ. 26 Toàn thể hội chúng I-sơ-ra-ên và những kiều dân sống giữa họ sẽ được tha thứ, bởi toàn dân đã sơ ý phạm tội.
27 Nếu một cá nhân sơ ý phạm tội thì người ấy phải dâng một con dê cái một tuổi làm của lễ chuộc tội. 28 Tư tế sẽ cử hành lễ chuộc tội trước mặt Chúa để chuộc tội cho người đã sơ ý phạm tội, rồi người ấy sẽ được tha thứ.
29 Ðối với những người đã sơ ý phạm tội thì chỉ có một luật chung cho người bản xứ I-sơ-ra-ên và các kiều dân sống giữa họ. Các ngươi chỉ có một luật chung cho bất cứ ai sơ ý phạm tội. 30 Nhưng đối với kẻ cố ý phạm tội, bất kể người bản xứ hay kiều dân, tức cố tình xúc phạm đến Chúa, kẻ ấy sẽ bị khai trừ khỏi dân, 31 vì nó đã khinh bỉ lời Chúa và cố tình vi phạm điều răn Ngài; kẻ đó phải bị khai trừ hẳn khỏi dân và nó phải mang lấy tội lỗi nó.”
Vi Phạm Ngày Sa-bát
32 Khi dân I-sơ-ra-ên còn ở trong đồng hoang, họ bắt gặp một người lượm củi trong ngày Sa-bát. 33 Những người bắt gặp người lượm củi dẫn ông ấy đến với Môi-se, A-rôn, và toàn thể hội chúng. 34 Họ giam ông lại, vì họ không biết phải giải quyết trường hợp của ông như thế nào. 35 Bấy giờ Chúa phán với Môi-se, “Người ấy phải chết. Cả hội chúng sẽ ném đá nó bên ngoài doanh trại.” 36 Toàn thể hội chúng đem ông ra bên ngoài doanh trại; họ ném đá ông và ông chết, y như lệnh Chúa đã truyền qua Môi-se.

37 Chúa phán với Môi-se rằng, 38 “Hãy nói với dân I-sơ-ra-ên và bảo họ: suốt các thế hệ trong tương lai các ngươi hãy làm những tua áo ở các góc áo, và hãy kết một sợi dây màu xanh dương nơi tua ở mỗi góc áo. 39 Các ngươi sẽ mặc áo có tua, để khi thấy nó các ngươi sẽ nhớ đến mọi điều răn của Chúa mà thi hành, thay vì đi theo sự thèm muốn của lòng mình và mắt mình mà làm điếm. 40 Vậy các ngươi hãy ghi nhớ và làm theo mọi điều răn Ta, rồi các ngươi sẽ trở nên thánh cho Ðức Chúa Trời của các ngươi. 41 Ta là Chúa, Ðức Chúa Trời của các ngươi, Ðấng đã đem các ngươi ra khỏi đất Ai-cập để làm Ðức Chúa Trời của các ngươi. Laws of Grain and Drink Offerings
15 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 (A)“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you have come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving to you, 3 and you (B)make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering or a sacrifice, (C)to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or (D)in your appointed feasts, to make a (E)sweet[a] aroma to the Lord, from the herd or the flock, 4 then (F)he who presents his offering to the Lord shall bring (G)a grain offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed (H)with one-fourth of a hin of oil; 5 (I)and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering you shall prepare with the burnt offering or the sacrifice, for each (J)lamb. 6 (K)Or for a ram you shall prepare as a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-third of a hin of oil; 7 and as a drink offering you shall offer one-third of a hin of wine as a sweet aroma to the Lord. 8 And when you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering, or as a sacrifice to fulfill a vow, or as a (L)peace offering to the Lord, 9 then shall be offered (M)with the young bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil; 10 and you shall bring as the drink offering half a hin of wine as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
11 (N)‘Thus it shall be done for each young bull, for each ram, or for each lamb or young goat. 12 According to the number that you prepare, so you shall do with everyone according to their number. 13 All who are native-born shall do these things in this manner, in presenting an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord. 14 And if a stranger [b]dwells with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and would present an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord, just as you do, so shall he do. 15 (O)One [c]ordinance shall be for you of the assembly and for the stranger who dwells with you, an ordinance forever throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. 16 One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who dwells with you.’ ”
17 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 18 (P)“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land to which I bring you, 19 then it will be, when you eat of (Q)the bread of the land, that you shall offer up a heave offering to the Lord. 20 (R)You shall offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal as a heave offering; as (S)a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it up. 21 Of the first of your ground meal you shall give to the Lord a heave offering throughout your generations.
Laws Concerning Unintentional Sin
22 (T)‘If you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses— 23 all that the Lord has commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day the Lord gave commandment and onward throughout your generations— 24 then it will be, (U)if it is unintentionally committed, [d]without the knowledge of the congregation, that the whole congregation shall offer one young bull as a burnt offering, as a sweet aroma to the Lord, (V)with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and (W)one kid of the goats as a sin offering. 25 (X)So the priest shall make atonement for the whole congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, for it was unintentional; they shall bring their offering, an offering made by fire to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their unintended sin. 26 It shall be forgiven the whole congregation of the children of Israel and the stranger who dwells among them, because all the people did it unintentionally.
27 ‘And (Y)if a person sins unintentionally, then he shall bring a female goat in its first year as a sin offering. 28 (Z)So the priest shall make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally, when he sins unintentionally before the Lord, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29 (AA)You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.
Law Concerning Presumptuous Sin
30 (AB)‘But the person who does anything [e]presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one [f]brings reproach on the Lord, and he shall be [g]cut off from among his people. 31 Because he has (AC)despised the word of the Lord, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his [h]guilt shall be upon him.’ ”
Penalty for Violating the Sabbath(AD)
32 Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, (AE)they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34 They put him (AF)under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.
35 Then the Lord said to Moses, (AG)“The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall (AH)stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36 So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died.
Tassels on Garments
37 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 38 “Speak to the children of Israel: Tell (AI)them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. 39 And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and (AJ)remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you (AK)may not (AL)follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, 40 and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be (AM)holy for your God. 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.”

28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31 Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.

38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
41 I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.

Rules About Sacrifices
15 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the ·Israelites [L sons/T children of Israel] and say to them, ‘When you enter the land that I am giving you as a home, 3 give the Lord offerings made by fire. These may be from your herds or flocks, as a smell pleasing to the Lord. These may be burnt offerings [Lev. 1:1–17] or sacrifices for ·special promises [a vow], or as gifts to him, or as festival offerings. 4 The one who brings the offering shall also give the Lord a ·grain [L gift; tribute] offering [Lev. 2:1]. It should be ·two quarts [L one-tenth of an ephah] of ·fine [choice] flour mixed with ·one quart [L one-fourth of a hin] of olive oil. 5 Each time you offer a lamb as a burnt offering [Lev. 1:1–17] or sacrifice, also prepare ·one quart [L one-fourth of a hin] of wine as a drink offering.
6 “‘If you are giving a ·male sheep [ram], also prepare a ·grain [L gift; tribute] offering [Lev. 2:1] of ·four quarts [L two-tenths of an ephah] of ·fine [choice] flour mixed with ·one and one-fourth quarts [L one-third of a hin] of olive oil. 7 Also prepare ·one and one-fourth quarts [L one-third of a hin] of wine as a drink offering. Its smell will be pleasing to the Lord.
8 “‘If you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering [Lev. 1:1–17] or sacrifice, whether it is for a ·special promise [vow] or a ·fellowship [or peace; well-being] offering [Lev. 3:1] to the Lord, 9 bring a ·grain [L gift; tribute] offering [Lev. 2:1] with the bull. It should be ·six quarts [L three-tenths of an ephah] of ·fine [choice] flour mixed with ·two quarts [L half a hin] of olive oil. 10 Also bring ·two quarts [L half a hin] of wine as a drink offering. This offering is made by fire, and its smell will be pleasing to the Lord. 11 Prepare each bull or ·male sheep [ram], lamb or young goat this way. 12 Do this for every one of the animals you bring.
13 “‘All ·citizens [natives] must do these things in this way, and the smell of their offerings by fire will be pleasing to the Lord. 14 ·From now on [L Throughout your generations] if ·foreigners [resident aliens] who live among you want to make offerings by fire so the smell will be pleasing to the Lord, they must offer them the same way you do. 15 As for the ·people [community; congregation; assembly], the ·law [statute; ordinance; requirement] is the same for you and for ·foreigners [resident aliens], and it will be ·from now on [a perpetual requirement]; you and the ·foreigners [resident aliens] are alike before the Lord. 16 The ·teachings [instructions; laws] and ·rules [regulations] are the same for you and for the ·foreigners [resident aliens] among you.’”
17 The Lord said to Moses, 18 “Tell the ·Israelites [L sons/T children of Israel]: ‘You are going to another land, where I am taking you. 19 When you eat the food there, ·offer [elevate] part of it to the Lord. 20 ·Offer [Elevate] a loaf of bread from the first of your ·grain [or dough], which will be your ·offering [elevation offering] from the threshing floor. 21 ·From now on [L Throughout your generations] ·offer [elevate] to the Lord the first part of your ·grain [or dough].
22 “‘Now what if you ·forget [unintentionally fail] to ·obey [do] any of these commands the Lord gave Moses? 23 These are the Lord’s commands given to you through Moses, which began the day the Lord ·gave them to [commanded] you and will continue ·from now on [L throughout your generations]. 24 If the ·people [community; congregation; assembly] ·forget [unintentionally fail] to ·obey [do] one of these commands, all the ·people [community; congregation; assembly] must offer a young bull as a burnt offering [Lev. 1:1–17], a smell pleasing to the Lord. By law you must also give the ·grain [L gift; tribute] offering [Lev. 2:1] and the drink offering with it, and you must bring a male goat as a ·sin [or purification; Lev. 4:3] offering.
25 “‘The priest will ·remove that sin for all the Israelites so they will belong to the Lord [L atone for all the community/congregation/assembly of the sons/T children of Israel]. They are forgiven, because they ·didn’t know they were sinning [sinned unintentionally]. For the unintentional wrong they did they brought offerings to the Lord, an offering by fire and a ·sin [or purification; Lev. 4:3] offering. 26 So all of the ·people [community; congregation; assembly] of ·Israel [L the sons/T children of Israel] and the ·foreigners [resident aliens] living among them will be forgiven. ·No one meant to do wrong [They were all involved in unintentional sin].
27 “‘If just one person sins ·without meaning to [unintentionally], a year-old female goat must be brought for a ·sin [or purification; Lev. 4:3] offering. 28 The priest will ·remove [atone for] the sin of the person who sinned ·accidentally [unintentionally]. He will ·remove it before the Lord [atone for him]; and the person will be forgiven. 29 The same ·teaching [instruction; law] is for everyone who sins ·accidentally [unintentionally]—for those ·born Israelites [natives] and for ·foreigners [resident aliens] living among you.
30 “‘But anyone who sins ·on purpose [L with a high hand; C knowingly] ·is against [insults] the Lord and must be cut off from the people, whether it is ·someone born among you [a native] or a ·foreigner [resident alien]. 31 That person has ·turned against [despised] the Lord’s word and has ·not obeyed [broken] his commands. Such a person must surely be cut off from the others. He is guilty.’”
A Man Worked on the Sabbath
32 When the ·Israelites [L sons/T children of Israel] were still in the ·desert [wilderness], they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day [Gen. 2:2–3; Ex. 20:8–11; 35:2; Deut. 5:13–15]. 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and all the people. 34 They held the man under guard, because they did not know what to do with him. 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely die. All the ·people [community; congregation; assembly] must kill him by ·throwing stones at [stoning] him outside the camp.” 36 So all the ·people [community; congregation; assembly] took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses.

37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the ·Israelites [L sons/T children of Israel] and tell them this: ‘·Tie several pieces of thread together and attach them to [Make fringes/tassels on] the corners of your clothes. Put a blue thread ·in each one of these tassels [L on the fringe/tassel of each corner]. Wear them ·from now on [L throughout your generations]. 39 You will have these ·tassels [fringes] to look at to remind you of all the Lord’s commands. Then you will obey them and not ·be disloyal by following what your bodies and eyes want [L follow after your own heart or your own eyes to be unfaithful/play the harlot after them]. 40 Then you will remember to obey all my commands, and you will be God’s holy people. 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God [Ex. 12–15]. I am the Lord your God.’”
