⁹ Do not lie to each other,^(A) since you have taken off your old self^(B) with its practices

¹⁵ Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.

¹⁴ But solid food is for the mature,^(A) who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.^(B)

¹⁰ Therefore, my brothers and sisters,^[a] make every effort to confirm your calling^(A) and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,^(B)
