Colossians 3:3-10

³ For ^(A)you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ ^(B)who is your^[a] life ^(C)appears, then you also will appear with him ^(D)in glory.

^5 (E)Put to death therefore ^(F)what is earthly in you:^{[b] (G)}sexual immorality, impurity, ^(H)passion, evil desire, and covetousness, ^(I)which is idolatry. ^6 (J)On account of these the wrath of God is coming.^{[c] 7 (K)}In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. ⁸ But now ^(L)you must put them all away: ^(M)anger, wrath, malice, ^(N)slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. ^9 (O)Do not lie to one another, seeing that ^(P)you have put off ^(Q)the old self^[d] with its practices ¹⁰ and ^(R)have put on ^(S)the new self, ^(T)which is being renewed in knowledge ^(U)after the image of ^(V)its creator.
