² Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.^{(A) 3} For you died,^(B) and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ, who is your^[a] life,^(C) appears,^(D) then you also will appear with him in glory.^(E)

⁵ Put to death,^(F) therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:^(G) sexual immorality,^(H) impurity, lust, evil desires and greed,^(I) which is idolatry.^(J)

² Do not conform^(A) to the pattern of this world,^(B) but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.^(C) Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is^(D)—his good, pleasing^(E) and perfect will.
